In this week’s issue, we published “Exorcism,” a long-lost play by Eugene O’Neill. Nickolas Muray, who took the portrait of O’Neill that accompanies the play, was, among other things, Frida Kahlo’s lover, a competitor on the U.S. Olympic fencing team, and a photographer known for shots full of life, joy, and color.
